Lower Milk street was located very close to Cheapside on the other side of Tithebarn street. The SuperLambanana is a good reference site if you want to explore the area. The census’s of 1881 & 1891 demonstrate that the family supported one another. According to the 1881 census Mary Ann Davies lived with Michael Davies and their daughter Rose Anne at #22. In the 1891 census Mary Ann and Michael have moved to # 15 and are living with the widower Thomas Forrester (one of Mary Ann’s sons) and his 3 children. In 1891 Harriet Fowler is recorded as living in one of the courts off Lower milk road together with husband George, 4 of their children + a lodger.
Hugh Grant Forrester must have visited often when he was a young man.
